ManuKesna 9 years ago 1. In my opinion it is monster hunter freedom unite. CrmsnFatalis96 9 years ago 3. The downside is that this game is getting old, and it has content unchanged as far as I know from Monster Hunter games that were made anywhere from to MHP3 is Japan only, so this one is not recommended if you have no way of working with the Japanese language.

However, it is the newer game so it is better in many aspects. Too bad you can't frag your snarky and whiny allies. Explore narrow corridors, fight monsters, hunt keys to open doors to more areas. There is a forgettable story, menus are confusing, but combat is satisfying, and the idea of transporting from planet to planet is neat.

It does hold interest, and always invites one more mission. I haven't tried Phantasy Star Portable 2 yet, but I'll hope that it improves on the graphics and environment. And kills off the more objectionable allies.

Valhalla Knights 2: A dungeon crawler, maybe more like a dungeon dredger. It's stingy with health points, inoffensive monsters like fluffy bunnies can totally 2-hit kill your level 5 fighter and eat you for lunch, everything costs tons of money but money is brutally hard to come by, dungeons are in the form of labyrinthine mazes and gameplay involves a lot of backtracking and being lost.

Hunting for elusive keys and switches to open doors, trial-and-error attempts to complete unclear mission objectives, dying over and over again. Combat is best left on automatic, fights happen with lightning speed and it's futile to attempt tactical intervention. Nonetheless, with all its faults, it's strangely compelling, it's frustrating but difficult to stop playing.

Blade Dancer Lineage of Light: A beautiful and engaging world to explore, with always more to see. Funky turn-based combat and jarring use of skull icons to represent monsters in the 3-D world drag it down, but the story, the finely gauged difficulty level, and the beautiful scenery make it rewarding and addictive. The dungeons are truly scary, pulse-pounding action to try to make it out alive!

Particularly nice touches are the lighting and transparency effects, from the misty morning to the sun at high noon, to the dimming light at evening, to the prismatic moon at night.

And some events depend on time of day in the game world, too! The environment really draws you in. Crisis Core: FFVII: This one has striking cinematics, an absorbing world, fast paced real time combat, collecting and crafting, mission-based action from a central hub, and a variety of main and side quests to choose from. The graphics are nicely done, exploration is somewhat limited by the linear and cramped corridors, but the scenery is presented well, from office complexes to mines to canyons to mountain paths.

Creatures range from enemy soldiers to humanoid mutants to biological and biomechanical monsters. There is a smooth progression in difficulty level, so frustration is minimized. Nice graphics, nice soundtrack, nice mission structure, nice tactical combat, and big swords!

Exploration is pretty much linear, search the area for treasure chests, random monsters, Moogle stores, and gateways. Within gateways, defeat monsters, pass through the gateway, progress the story. The scenery is moderately bizarre, ley lines of energy, floating buildings, lights in the sky. Combat is totally bizarre, 3-dimensional, jumping, flying, weapon based, magic based, energy based. And the extras! You can play three story lines plus a spin-off "reports" story, or play in the arena, or explore the labyrinth, or listen to tunes or watch cutscenes on the jukebox, or read e-mails from your Moogle fans.

Killer Clown? However, it is also a successor to Monster Hunter Freedom Unite as the third game in the Portable series. You can play all PSP games with this emulator. Not only can you play all the games above comfortably.
