I had many people that showed interest but i could not, honestly, qualify them so i did not reach the goals that were set for me and ended up being let go. So I would not give management a good review. In addition, the apartment units were not given the attention that they needed. There were lots of maintenance and repair issues that were not addressed. This also made the apartments hard to rent. That, I would say, was the hardest part of the job. I do, however, enjoy working in the apartment industry and being a leasing agent because I enjoy the variety of duties involved.

I also love getting to personally know all of the residents. I have worked at two different properties and each time I had those residents that would sit in the office and talk to me and keep me company during slow times.

Working in an apartment complex, the staff generally only consists of 2 or 3 office personnel and up to 4 maintenance technicians so you become like a family. Was this review helpful?
